Book Review: Tomie

Tomie by Juni Ito

Tomie is a graphic novel series featuring short stories about Tomie, a mysterious beautiful girl who drives others to kill her over and over. This character is complex, being almost more a creature then a person, as when she is cut up by those driven to obsession and madness, she forms new copies of herself, an army of Tomie. Tomie still somehow calls the reader to question if she is also a victim, not just a monster.
